I don't know his birth date. His son Teddy (my granddaughter's father) was killed in a car wreck in December after Vernon's death. He was married to Margaret Lawson (I need her history, too) and divorced. I can remember Ted saying that one of his grandfathers was called "Doc". They both lived at Fall Branch and were buried in Goshen Valley.
