His first wife was Letta/Lottie/Lotta/Lotte Bailey and with her he had several children including: Mary C. Sellers who married J. J. Case; Sarah Rosella Sellers who married Samuel H. Maston; and Addie Letis Sellers who married and A. J. Kerr. Thomas M. Sellers' second wife was Sarah Ellen. Little information is known about Sarah, including her last name. According to 1900 Jefferson County census records, she was born about 1851, had four children, all of whom were still living in 1900, she had been married to Thomas about 10 years, and it appears that three of her four children were born to a previous marriage.
