GEORGIA, just a note to you and all. I see or extracted on the 1830 Macon Co, NC census, page 19= A. Looks like Seller =Didn't recheck tonite. We also have a JOHN SELLERS 1760/70 here with David, John Samuel Sellers. Some could connect to our Lincoln Co., NC PA SELLERS ? I haven't followed thro on 1840. I'm sure someone has. Advise thoughts, As we/I haven't followed many of these Pa kids either. I guesss it is possible that Ruth E was Ruth Esther but she always went by the name Ruth. He does sound interesting. Is it possible that this James died before the 1840 census? I have that James Sellers was born about 1792 in North Carolina and went to Tennessee. He married an Unknown Thompson and had the following children: Nathan Sellers, James Sellers, John Sellers, Ester Sellers and Minerva Sellers. It is interesting that Jane Thompson is the daughter of Nathan Thompson and James Sellers and Unknown Thompson named their first son, Nathan Sellers. Also he has an Ester Sellers and Nathan Thompson was married to Esther Black. The James Sellers of Lawrence County, TN in 1840 and 1850 ends up in Maury County, TN by 1860. Maury County, TN, is where most of the sons of James T/Y Sellers that died in Chatham County, NC circa 1805 ended up shortly after the death of James T/Y Sellers in Chatham County, NC. All of this is from early family history and I have been unable to trace this line. Could Ester Sellers be Ruth E. Sellers? Marie, Georgia and Charmaine, That does indeed look like A John Sellers and not Gillow. There is a George higher up on the page and the way the census taker writes a G is entirely different from his S. In 1840 there is an Abraham Sellers: 1m 0-5, 1m 40-50; 1f 0-5; 1f 20-30 And a John Sellars: 1m 10-15, 1m 15-20, 1m 40-50; 1f 10-15, 2f 15-20, 1f 40-50 Linda -----Oprindelig meddelelse----- Fra: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] På vegne af marie sellers hollinger Sendt: 28. maj 2007 05:20 Til: [email protected] Emne: Re: [SELLERS]Margaret Minerva Sellers of Sellers Family from NC, TN & MS, with a brief period in MO - update - Jane Thompson was MM Sellers´s mother GEORGIA, just a note to you and all.
