I found "The History of the Killian Family in North Carolina" online and the history writes that William Killian was the son of Leonard Killian and that William always spelled his name "Killen". Leonard Killian was son of Andrew Killian who came from PA and who was "granted" land by William Sherrill (1749). William Killian md. Mary Goodwin 28 Aug 1788, Lincoln Co. NC. They moved to IN.
