Scantling, male born Sep 1874, Samuel Miller, Albemarle Co., VA - Lizzie Scantling, female born Oct 1883, servant for Bernard Thacker, Charlottesville, Albemarle Co., VA It was interesting that the M. E. Scanting, female born 1833, of Samuel Miller, was shown as married and not widowed. I think many pages may be missing (at Ancestry.com) out of the 1900 census.
