    3. LINDA, thanks for any suggestions. FT sends our chart results by proven haplo's. We have diff haplo's #'s that match these proven matches, so grouped together as proven, not just by haplo #'s. They are coming out with a new chart foremat, don't know how good/diff it will be. I would like to have a #/link to family groups. Each person needs to send their chart, so we can follow it and several/most have done this. We canNot link anyone till Proven. Just the proven test matches to those families. Kinda like now, but a Link to that group family. Then I need to manually post these names and charts to that link. I have been thinking of this, just need time to experiment. AND each time we have new results, they send me a new chart, which would NOT have our old links in it. SO, redo each, everytime?? I may be able to work around this, by just extracting the one or two new results and try pasting them into the old excel sheet, which has our links to group pages. But, sometimes, they upgrade haplo's and I may not catch if I didn't repost complete chart. Must study more, but, I would like a link to family groups that match. Been thinking, but, not doing on it. Thanks for suggestions. I think it would be good to group the members by haplogroups and if possible, within the haplogroups by family groups, from most distant common ancestor. The Ross site is an example of what I´m thinking of, though not sure how the administrator did that. I´ve tried grouping our Bonham site and it´s not easy. Just a suggestion. Yours, Linda

    1. [SELLERS] Thomas Sellers
    2. Carol Herbert
    3. Does anyone have data on Thomas Sellers, arrived as immigrant in 1739 Virginia.  A Thomas was granted 300 acres in Edgecombe County, N.C. 1739 (before Edgewood divided...maybe Orange?) A Thomas appeared on Orange County, N.C. Tax rolls 1755.  This is general area of Cape Fear River (legend in the Emanuel, Gurley, Jordan, Bennett branch is that "father was from Virginia...immigrated before Revolution and got land on Cape Fear River...maybe their grandfather?  Or do we have a line traced to this Thomas in Orange? It would be good to have enough data to eliminate...or confirm Thomas as being part of this line. I am wondering about the possibility of James who married Faithey and sold her dower land in Nash County as parents (son of Thomas???), grandfather of Daniel?  Pure speculation...but do we know enough to eliminate this? Could the Faithey who married James around 1797 be a "Gurley" like the Faithey who was married to George Sellers 1n 1740's in VA?  Are there "Gurley" records for Nash, Orange, Chatham, early Edgecombe?  . . ________________________________ From: marie sellers hollinger <mari@netins.net> To: Linda Peacock <lindapeacock@vip.cybercity.dk>; "SELLERS@rootsweb. com" <SELLERS@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, June 3, 2009 7:02:29 PM Subject: Re: [SELLERS] Sellers Y-DNA site LINDA, thanks for any suggestions.
