Everything I've accumulated about my Sellers side has come from Ancestry.com. Even the pictures and such that came my way after my dad passed on, pretty much dealt with the Butler side, although there is a very old photo of my great-grandmother, Minnie Lowry Butler, with her mother, Eliza Sellers Lowry (the family tree quit branching a bit right around then; my grandparents were 2nd cousins!). I have no written documentation of anything. I was born and raised in Toledo; my grandparents moved up to Toledo when my dad and my aunt were quite small. My great-uncle, my grandmother's brother Howard Butler, moved up here too; but the rest of them all stayed down in the Lima area. We knew a little about the Butler side, but we were just plain never told anything about the Sellers family history! I have no clue why, and there aren't too many people left to ask anymore. There's my aunt, Ginny Sellers Evans, who lives in Tennessee now; but my dad passed away in September of 2003. I don't know if my brother might have anything more in the way of family history documents ... yes, I have a brother, Will. I had no children. He has one daughter, no sons. Maybe I could talk him into the DNA test, but I can guarantee someone else would have to pay for it! Is that possible?? He hasn't been working much (and I've been laid off since January). But I digress ... this is all that Ancestry.com has given me on John Leonard[1782] and his siblings (you may well already have this info, but just to make sure): Michael Sellers (1780-1832) George Sellers (1781-1842) John Leonard Sellers (1782-1860) Samuel Sellers (1787-1855) Mary Magdalena Sellers (1791-1873) The gaps between the younger ones are obvious. There's got to be more of them, although who knows how many didn't make it to adulthood. My line came to Ohio in the mid-1800's sometime from Bucks Co PA and other areas around Philadelphia, but unfortunately I'm not in touch with anyone there. But if there's anything else at all that you need from me, just let me know. Roger, thanks so much for your reply! I did send you an offlist email; please let me know if you received it. - Shari
