Marie, I believe the Ruben Sellers listed here to be the son of my William P Sellers and Belle Reeves. As far as I know, they are not related to Raymond or Mary. Sara she is Cleva's mother. Morning Marie. I want to say to you, thanks a million for taking time out of your busy schedule and helping me out on these census of Missouri date 1900 & 1930 of Thomas J. and wife Mary E. ( Kee ) Sellers. And their son Ralph Raymond Sellers. Not sure if you recall but these Sellers comes down from the tree branch of George and Mary Sellers of Green County Pa. who had a son Asa Sellers who with his family moved to Coshocton County Ohio about 1849 & listed in the 1850 census. The census of this family list a daughter Sarah born about 1832 in Pa. who about 1852 in said county married an Andrew Kee, this family moved to McDonough County Illinois about 1853. In said county of the 1860 census you find that in 1854 this couple had a daughter named Mary E.= Back to Asa's children listed in the 1850 census besides my Gr. Gr. Grandfather Asa.# 2. we find a Thomas J. age 3 born in Pa. Thanks to the 1900 census of Henry County Mo. that you sent, now verify's what I only could believe but never prove. That is that, young Thomas J. married his niece Mary E. Sellers about 1870. Asa's wife and the mother of his children was Eleanor born in Ireland. We find in this 1900 census not only that this Thomas J. Sellers was born in 1847 in Pa. that his father was born in Pa. and his mother Ireland. and also as you pointed out that Sarah ( Sellers ) Kee, mother of Mary & sister of Thomas J. was living near this family in said census, and again we find Mother Sarah Kee with daughter Mary E. Sellers living in Pratt County Ks. 1920 census along with Mary's son Claude and his family. Beside chasing down Claude Sellers children Thomas and Mary E. which I found in the 1930 Census of Pottawatomie County, OK. I will be putting this tree branch on the shelf.. Again Thank you for all your help. FDH Dennis H.
Marie: Thank you for the info. I looked them up & have printed the census. I appreciate your help because I have looked every way imaginable for them with soundex online, at the National ARchives, etc and couldn't find them at all. Now if I can just find WALTER W. & MONTIE in later census to see if Montie (wonder what his real name is...Montie sounds like a nickname) married & had children. Thanks again for your usual expert assistance. I now have census info from 1920 and 1930 on John H. and Nancy ELIZABETTE Sellers. From their census ages, they would have been born in 1882 and 1883 respectively. They had a daughter born in N.C. before moving west and named her Clausy Geneva Sellers. She later married Harold Grissom of Arizona at 22 years of age. Does anyone have any info on my John H. Sellers born 1882 in N.C.? Does anyone have census data for 1910 or 1900 on him? Many, many thanks to you folks! Chuck Sellers LuvTheLord03@Hotmail.com

I would look in the 1910 census and try to find John Sellers. The names Geneva is somewhat unusual and you should be able to narrow down which John is yours from her name. Are any of these names corresponding to John H.'s in your database? I noticed his wife's name is "Elizabette" as opposed to ElizaBETH. Looking for Sellers family relatives . My side is from N.C. I believe. I am Charles W. "Chuck" Sellers John H. Sellers ( my ggf) moved from N.C. to Bisbee , AZ early 1900's . Not sure why he did as it was a gun-slinging mining town a few miles down the road from Tombstone, Arizona. My father's cousin (my 2nd cousin?) believes the "H" was for Henry but I am thinking that it might have been for Henderson as that was my father's middle name and possibly he was named after my ggf's middle name as well. Not sure on this. My direct lineage is: Charles Ledford Sellers ( my gf) died 2 yrs ago Charles Henderson Sellers ( my f) died 1 yrs ago Charles William Sellers (me) born in 1959 Derek Jon Sellers (my only son) born in 1985 no! I did not name him Charles! ;o) John H. (my ggf) had 3 sons: Charles Ledford (only had one son, my father) George Wiley (died childless) Kenneth (had 1 son "John" who never had children and is now in his late 50's or early 60's) Fortunately (maybe), some of these unique middle names may be a key to other relatives in the line. Ledford, Wiley and Henderson seem very unique to me. I hope that is a clue for some of you on this list. As you can see, myself and my only son are the only surviving Sellers' from this offshoot of the clan that will pass the family name on from this branch. If anyone already has a family tree built that has my relatives in it, I would be MOST grateful to have a copy to get me started. Help! I want some living relatives!!!! This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JWGBAEB/1076 Message Board Post: I'm attempting to piece together my paternal line. I've had no success on my own, so now I'm throwing myself on the mercy of the message boards! My name is Paul Aubrey Sellers, born 1957 in Tarrant County Texas. I am the son of Clarence Aubrey Sellers, Jr., born in Yoakum, Texas in 1923, and Nola Maudine Laws, born in Coleman, Texas in 1930. My father was the son of Clarence Aubrey Sellers, Sr, born c. 1899, place unknown (probably between Alabama and Texas), and Laura D. Render. Clarence Aubrey Sellers Sr, my grandfather, was the son of Baker Ewing Sellers, probably of Millerville, Clay County, Alabama, and Melinda Rose Dyess.. His siblings were John, Ruby, and Ruah. I cannot find a reference to Baker Ewing Sellers anywhere. He is said to be the son of Andrew Jackson Sellers, of Georgia, who is buried in Millerville, Alabama. This is the oral tradition of my family. I have found information about an Andrew Jackson Sellers of Coosa County, Alabama (which is next door to Clay County). But the census records of his children include no Baker Ewing Sellers; in fact they list none of the children of Andrew Jackson Sellers which oral tradition in my family leads me to believe. The children of my great great grandfather Andrew Jackson Sellers are Kate, Mollie, Baker Ewing, William, Shaver, and Thomas, all of Millerville, Clay County, Alabama. Is there anyone out there with information to help me in my search? Any clue would be greatly appreciated.
