Sellers married Annie Appel on Feb. 20, 1889. Annie died and John married her sister, Lillian Appel, at an unknown date. One of their sons was my grandfather, Willis Elmer Sellers, born in 1904. Lillian died in about 1913 or 1914. Does this fit anyone's research? Thanks.

Mrs Knight was born in this county February 26, 1819, and is a daughter of John and Mary Fry. They were also natives of Greene county, but moved to West Virginia and resided their until their deaths. To Mr and Mrs Knight have been born nine children, seven of whom are living: Mary Knight, Joshua Knight, Cassie J Knight, Thomas J Knight, Lucy A Knight, Jemima Knight and Harriet Knight. The deceased are Catherine and Eli. Mr Knight has been successfully engaged in farming all his life, and owns about 134 acres of land. In politics he is a Democrat. The Knight family are pioneers of the county, and among its most highly respected citizens.

    3. Becky, I think the name Newton was definitely of some significance to this line, but I don't know in what way. It may come from Charity's line, as Henderson may as well. But what research I've done doesn't support the theory. That is, I have not found proof either way of where those names come from. Let me know if you find anything. I'll do the same.
