Sellers married Annie Appel on Feb. 20, 1889. Annie died and John married her sister, Lillian Appel, at an unknown date. One of their sons was my grandfather, Willis Elmer Sellers, born in 1904. Lillian died in about 1913 or 1914. Does this fit anyone's research? Thanks.

Marie, There are Sellers family files at the Roane Co TN Heritage Society or the courthouse, can't recall off-hand. But I'm a long way from TN. Becky, I think the name Newton was definitely of some significance to this line, but I don't know in what way. It may come from Charity's line, as Henderson may as well. I do not have connection to Preston... my connection with through Gurley Sellers, who went into Alabama late 1830s from NC, but came across this in my "search" and thot someone would be interested...
