    3. Hello Sellers researchers, In regards to the Daniel Lee Sellers,My husbands family was in Monroe when he was born in 1933. I have been in contact with a person who works at the Ouchita Parish Library. Her name is Anne Middleton. I have her address somewhere will try to find it and forward. She has sent me some copies of the city directory for the years,1912-1913---1933-1934---. In the 1912-1913,the only Sellers I see are my husbands' family, before his Mother and Daddy married. They moved from there to New Mexico and from there to Ark.In the later addition 1933-34,It only shows his parents, not even any kids. Anne is very willing to help you and only charges a small fee .So let me go find her listing. He's not on the 1930 census, and havent been able to look earlier than that yet. From what I understand he worked on the railroad and is probably why he got missed by the census. He had 8 children, Wyatt, Lillian, Julie, Daniel, Edgar, Norma, George, and Arlene. thanks! > > >

Samuel Howard Sellers (17 Feb. 1865 - 2 Aug. 1940) married (1) Clara M. Bruce and (2) Fannie Gulton and lived in South Dakota. Samuel and Clara had 6 children that settled in Mt. It may take me awhile, but I do try to type every name in an index & I will have to admit that the Sellers inquiry kind of "threw me" for a few moments. But there is surely no point in buying a book that has nothing in it for you Since Claiborne is a comparatively "new" county - formed 1801 from parts of Grainger and Hawkins, you will want to be on the lookout in those counties, also. 3. Georgia, Thanks for sending the info thru the list. Great info! Good to know exactly where they were at that time. Hopefully it will help me locate where they ended up. You don't happen to have any Census info for Samuel Howard Sellers and his two wives, Clara M. Bruce and Fanny Gulton, in South Dakota do you? Just curious and thought I'd ask. My Great Great Grandparents, Jerome Howard Brown Sellers (14 Nov. 1825 - 27 Feb. 1910) and Margaret R. Bell (2 Nov. 1832 - 17 June 1907) were both born in Augusta County, Virginia and had 14 children. Three of the children left Virginia and moved to the midwest. Samuel Howard Sellers (17 Feb. 1865 - 2 Aug. 1940) married (1) Clara M. Bruce and (2) Fannie Gulton and lived in South Dakota. Samuel and Clara had 6 children that settled in Mt. Vernon, Madison, Hot Springs, and Yankton, South Dakota and Clarenson, Illinois. John Newton Sellers (13 Jan. 1869 - 7 Aug. 1945) married Gertrude Lowell and lived in Iowa. John and Gertrude had at least two children, and they settled in and around Emmettsburg, Iowa. William Arthur Sellers (6 Mar. 1870 - Feb. 1935) married Ida Harrell. I don't have a record of any children nor where exactly that William Arthur Sellers and Ida Harrell settled in Iowa. Travelling in 1981 with my grandfather Whitfield T. Sellers, who's father George W. Sellers was a brother to the three sons listed above, I had the pleasure of meeting most of the offspring of these sons. I'd love to hear from anyone who might be a descendant of these sons. I have quite a bit of info on the offspring of these sons of Jerome H.B. and Margaret R. Bell Sellers but not much info on the final resting place of the sons nor really anything about their life.
