Carl, I don't know any male Sellers from the Isaac Sellers and Judith Johnson line. I put up a request on the List and have had no response. If we had a DNA test on a descendant of Robert Sellers Jr. and Sarah Hall it would help. Robert Sellers Jr and Isaac Sellers are first cousins. If what you are telling me about your Young Sellers being a son of David Sellers and David is a son of Robert, son of John. I would venture to say that John would be the missing brother of Robert Sellers Sr. of Burke County, NC and James T/Y Sellers of Chatham County, NC. Do you know anything about this John Sellers? I don't know where in Scotland because on the DNA report, it gives the Country of Orgin of the oldest known relative but nothing more. I have contaced the people and they don't know either. From what I understand, it could go back as far as 14 generations. I expect there are many Gordons but if you have any and it is not hard to find, I would appreciate it. Betty Sellers
There is a LARGE Lyon family that came from Cambridge, England to Roxbury, MA in 1635 (on the ship "Hopewell") The progenitor's name was William Lyon. Its seems fairly likely there the possibility of a connection with this line is good.
Betty, what part of Scotland are your Gordons from? I have a long line of Gordons in my family from scotland as well. (going back to about 1220). Ill look through my data and see if I have an Alexander. (most of mine were in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, in the east). -Johnathan clayborn

There is James Sr. who died in 1805 and he is the father. Isaac, James Jr. and Robert are sons of James Sr. I don't know if David is a son or not but in 1790 he was living exactly next door to James Sr. and as I sent before he witnesses deeds for this family.
