I found him in 1850 Jackson County, Florida and 1880 Brunswick County, North Carolina but I am not finding him in 1860 and 1870. I went through page by page of 1860 Lockwood Folly Township of Brunswick County, NC, and there were several people named Simfronias. I remember one was Simfronias Hewett. I also saw it spelled with a ph rather than an f. This is the first time I have run across that name. Perhaps we Americanized it to Simeon. 3. Marie and all, do we have the census records of Hanson Kelly Sellers for 1860 and 1870? I found him in 1850 Jackson County, Florida and 1880 Brunswick County, North Carolina but I am not finding him in 1860 and 1870. I went through page by page of 1860 Lockwood Folly Township of Brunswick County, NC, and there were several people named Simfronias. I remember one was Simfronias Hewett. I also saw it spelled with a ph rather than an f. This is the first time I have run across that name. Perhaps we Americanized it to Simeon. 3. Just for the record, Marilyn lives on Bald Head Island, NC. She taught in Columbus, Ohio for 30 years before leaving the Buckeye state. She did host a party on day of OSU vs Michigan game. I was flying into Columbus on that day but got out of town before game ended. Roger ----- Original Message ----- From: ROGER L. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JWGBAEB/2208.2.1 Message Board Post: I descend from this Henry's second wife Lucille Smith and their son Benjamin Dolson (buried in the Sandoval Cem, Sandoval Illinois). My Great Grandma King(Helen Louise Sellers King) hand copied the obituary from somewhere. In the upper right hand corner she later went back and dated the obituary as 1938 or 1939. It reads as follows: George S. Sellers, aged 75, died April 6th at his home near Clarkbridge, MO. Sellers was borned at Des Moines, Iowa, March 8th, 1864. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War; served as Corporal in Co. I 6th MO Inf. His wife and five children survive him. He was a member of Wm. R Kendrich Camp No. 13, U.S.W.V. of Ca_ter who had charde of the funeral service. Burial was at Thacker Cemetery on North Pigeon Creek. Full Military honors were rendered at the grave. She also had an obit for Wilbert Sellers son of Leonard Sellers it reads as follows: BREESE - Wilbert W. Sellers, 92, of Breese, died today at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese. Mr. Sellers was born in Sandoval, the son of Leonard and Etta McGee Sellers. He married Cecelia Hoerchler who preceded him in death in February, 1961. He then married Ione Crane in Vandalia in December, 1961. She survives. Also surviving are a stepson, Richard Clark of West Alton, Mo.; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Ilges of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs Henrietta Furdek of St. Louis, and Mrs. Wilma Berndsen and Mrs. Ruth Winter, both of Breese; 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Mr. Sellers was aretired coal miner and a member of the United Mine Workers. Funeral services will be conducted at 1p.m. Friday at the Bruegge Funeral Home in Breese. Interment will follow at St. Dominic's Cemetery in Breese. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. tomorrow. These two obits are where I got any information from on these individuals. My great grandma had told me that her grandpa Henry died on his birthday and she had a death date of 28 Mar 1919. From census records I determined that his DOB should be 28 Mar 1835.

Surnames: Sellers, Sellars Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JWGBAEB/2208 Message Board Post: I am looking for any information on Henry Clay Sellers. Born in 1835 in Virgina and died in 1919 in Illinois. I am at a dead end. I know he was married to someone from Iowa. They had 2 boys Leonard R Sellers and George S Sellers. They possibly had a baby boy Henry that died in infancy in 1861 in Iowa. He then went to Illinois and married Lucille Smith Sweet. I think he may have married a 3 time to margaret Sill Bird. I would really like to know the name of his first wife and his parents names. Thanks.
