PLEASE let us know if you find a connection! There are some SEAMAN "Loyalists" that went to Ontario in Canada in 1783 who then migrated back to the Rochester, NY area. There were SEAMANS [note final "s"] family members who migrated through the Mohawk River area westward. They seem to have lost the final "s" on their name in about Montgomery County. There are the elusive William SEAMAN progeny which spread out from Washington Co., PA north into Western NY. And there are other SEAMAN family lines that arrived from Germany and England. So keep doggin' the data.
