Can you tell me something more about the age of this William Seaman in Washington Co., PA? Sabra Seamans, who moved west from Nova Scotia around 1790 to Marietta, OH with the Gilbert Seamans clan, had a son before marriage named William Seamans. He was living in Muskingum Co, OH, in 1815-1817, but after that, I don't know. Others in this clan dropped the final 's' around this time. William's uncle Samuel died in late 1814 in Putnam, Muskingum Co., OH, with several children: Gilbert, Samuel, Sarah, Martha, and Harrison. They would have been 14 or under.
