While going through all the court of common pleas records of Morristown NJ I found Doty, Doughty, Mott, all names that have connection with the Seaman family. One Doty was a Mayflower passenger I understand. Gershom Mott was a judge in Morris County for years. Jacob and Isaac Doty were found on these microfilms also. I believe the first time I saw them was in the 1760s.
