March of 1772 in Morris County New Jersey, Court of Common Pleas: Willet and Obediah Seamans (sic) sued Joseph Lewis for a debt. Another year Willet Seaman (no s) was sued, same court. Anyone have a clue about who Obediah was? He was over 21 and that's about all I can determine. He would have been born at least by 1751. I don't want to force anything, but it appears that David #148 in Mary Thomas Seaman's book had a lot of "lost children". Somebody writes that Bunker said David and Mary Willets had 15 children and only two were mentioned: David and Zebulon. Willets Seaman of Morristown had a son named David. But Who Is Obediah?
