    1. [SEAMAN-L] Joshua SEAMAN Story
    2. Terry Wilson
    3. Any input on this one, I have the ref now - a ltr written in 1928. This regards a Joshua SEAMAN: "Of him it is said that he was taken out of bed by the British and compelled to pilot their ship to West Point. There are some other rather bloody traditions of how one of these wives defended her home during the Revolutionary War. It is said that one of Joshua's sons, Isaac, was in charge of a squadron for the colonies on Lake Ontario, and that he died at Gibraltar." My note - Joshua had another son, John, also. Now you know as much about this as I do. Anyone have any input????? I know I asked this before but figured I would repost with the direct quote from Joshua's gg-gson. Terry === Terry Wilson 40 S.
