I am very interested in connecting to someone, however, we have been unable to get our Sylvanus Seaman b. NY abt 1806 (we believe Herkimer Co, NY) out of Illinois. He lived in Carlinville, Macoupin Co, IL for many years. Married to Nancy McWain, dau of Louis McWain. We have information on his children born in Illinois, but nothing beyond that. Any help would be appreciated. Is there anyone near or in Fairfield, Herkimer Co, New York who could look up ANYTHING at the library, courthouse, cemetery there??? We need a lead bad. Thanks.
