Sorry to say, I have no information on how they died. The line of Swans that I have researched is not one of my direct lines. Lorenzo (DOB 1863) was a nephew of my great grandmother, Susan Ann SWAN KOPFF. The SWANs were from March, Cambridgeshire, England and immigrated to Wisconsin in the 1840's. Susan's brother, Alfred and family, along with his mother, Sarah, went to Turner County, SD and homesteaded. Alfred had 6 children altogether, including Lorenzo. I know that Lorenzo had 2 children... Leonard and Lela. I have not researched farther than that. I do know that Leonard had 3 children, one of which lived a few miles from me in Minnesota---Cletus Swan. However, I never met him. I do have more information on some of the SWANs from the 1800s if you are interested. Some of my information came from a researcher by the name of Lisa Axt from Ohio. I do not have a current email for her. Other info came through rootsweb, census records, obits from WI and land records.
