I don't know how much help I can be but I will tell you what I do know. His second marriage, after his first wife died was to my wife's great aunt, Sarah Miller Popp on Sept 19, 1940. Sarah's first husband, Arthur Popp, had passed away in 1931 in Durham, Kansas. Gottlieb was a Church of God (Anderson, IN) minister, and when he and Sarah were married he was manager of the Christian Unity Press in York, NE. In 1960 they retired and moved back to Marion, SD.
