Her father was John M. Gitchell who was born in Wyoming Co., N.Y. His father was Cyrus Gitchell born in N.Y. John was a Civil War Vet who lived in Michigan between 1852 & about 1875. He then moved to Turner Co., S.D. Leona's mother was John's second wife, Lovena (Alvina) Ann Mack who was also born in Michigan to Sanford Mack & Rhoda Munsel. Need anymore just let me know.
