Both of my parents were also from Viborg, so I vacationed there often. I have the Viborg Centennial Book, and one from Hurley too. Candy Pete basically sold candy, had a soda fountain, and held the town liquer license. He was married to Esther Hansen, and they had 7 children. Emmeral, Herbert, Caroline, Warren, Jean, Elaine and Merritt. My mothers family was Alvin and Jennie Christensen, and they had 5 girls, Arlene, Ardis, Lois, Jean and Carol.
