    1. Lucile B. Husband
    2. ron KERRISON
    3. Have just joined List from England. Hope somebody can help with following: LUCILE B HUSBAND 02 Jul 1876 15 May 1974 (V) 57043 (Marion, Turner, SD) (none specified) 503-62-1310 South Dakota SS-5 Letter Add Post-em Search Ancestry.com I am looking for any info on above 98 year old lady, died 15 May 1974, in Marion, Turner County. I feel sure that she is the same Lucile B. Husband whom I lose after the 1920 census, when she appears to leave her husband, (taking 2 children), in Aberdeen, Brown County. What was she doing in the intervening 54 years between 1920 and 1974? (About 1919, Lucile may have been residing in Yankton) Could S.K.S. search for an obit or other info in, say, the Marion Record archives on or after 15 May 1974? Ultimately, I am looking for descendents of her two boys named THEODORE B. HUSBAND born 1906: (- Ted, who served in Camp Nichols, Phillipines, 1926); and BYRON B. HUSBAND, born 1907. I would imagine that Lucile's maiden name began with "B"! I have in my possession, a box of photos of the family which she left. Very grateful. Ron Kerrison.

    1. Rosehill Cemetery, Viborg, Turner Co., SD Hansen
    2. Barbara Drummer
    3. I find my Great Grandmother, Seffinga, Polly buried at Rosehill with the information saying Seffinga Polly 2 16 1899 29 f. I am given to understand that a son, stillborn ? was born at that time? but don't find an infant Seffinga burial there in the archives records. Polly born Holland was born a Terpstra. There are also some early Hansen and Rasmussen burials. How do I find later burials for this cemetery? I am told that Hans Hansen and wife Marie Christerson Hansen are also buried at this cemetery. They would probably have died after 1909 or 1910. How far after I don't know. Michael Seffinga, husband of Polly (found in 1900 as Michel Sefenga Holland as a boarder in the Frank Waldo household) and one son of Michael, George is found in Bon Homme County as Georg Seffingar or Seffinger Nephew age 9 Holland with a Herman Vanantte or Vanzante b. Iowa w/ parents b. Holland ? not sure really what that name is, wife Clarra or Clorra born Holland , Anna, a son ??ily? and a daughter ?i?t?nde, Clara A? D? the kids are born Iowa other than the youngest Clara born SD but I haven't found Polly and Michael's youngest son Aerndt John Seffinga by any spelling. Hansen's are Michael's second wife's parents. They had immigrated from Denmark and are said to have homesteaded in Viborg SD along the Vermillion River. Jens Hansen, Lillie Hansen Edwardson, Minnie Hansen Rassmuson, Albert Hansen, Harold Hansen, Tara or Sara Hansen Rassmuson, Mary Hansen Seffinga and there was one son said to have died young that is buried in Viborg. I did find Mary the daughter as Mary Hanson servant b. Denmark with 1 child, Agnes H? Hanson in SD, Turner who shows in 1910 Iowa census as Agnes Mikelson (?) age 11, Stepdaughter to Michael along with Michael, Mary and the other children. Agnes is said to be born S. Dakota Mar 1899, is 1 in the 1900 with both parents born Denmark and her mother in the census is Hanson Mary A 1879 July 20 Denmark. The middle initial for Agnes looks like H. to me? I have found what could be Mary's brother Jens spelled Hansen and also brother Harold, spelled Hansen, have not found others that look right as the siblings of Mary. Looking for anything that might further our knowledge of these families. Regards, Barb Drummer

    1. John D. Baker
    2. John D. Baker his wife, Elizabeth, and children Charles and Ellen are on the the 1880 Census for Turner County. John homesteaded in Turner County a few years before the 1880 date. It appears John died sometime between 1880 and 1885 but have not located any documentation to support this assumption. Question: Does anyone know who I can contact to find how and when his property (real estate) was transferred? I thank anyone in advance that can let me know. Thank you Puzzledfrank
