I've "rescued" an old photograph album including some EGGLESTON Family photographs. The first photograph is a group photo including J.C. EGGLESTON age 59 taken at the Quiggle & Johnson Studio in Rapid City, South Dakota. The photograph was likely taken in the 1890's and includes three children, Edward H. SWANDER age 11; Harry V. SWANDER age 5; and Ethel HALE age 3; The second photograph is of two women J. CARNS and N. EGGLESTON taken at the W.J. Collins Studio in Rapid City, SD. It is noted on the photograph that N. EGGLESTON is "George's wife". This photo was probably taken in the 1880's with both women appearing to be in their 20's at the time. The third photograph is of the EGGLESTON Family including Mother, Father, and 2 daughters. It was taken at the E.B. Hinman Studio in Clarinda, Iowa. The photo appears to have been taken in the 1870's or 1880's with the two girls both appearing to be in their teens and the parents in their 40's or 50's. Other surnames which appear in the album are: WEAD, PEARSON, COUTS, PIKE, MCDONNEL, MCELERHAN, and CARNS With photographs originated from: Le Mars, Iowa; and Alliance, NE; I'm hoping to locate someone from these families so that these wonderful old photographs can be returned to their rightful place with family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
