He was an itinerant Lutheran pastor in the gold mining days. They were married in Rapid City, South Dakota, in 1892, and had a baby Herman Heinrich HERBENER in Keystone, Pennington County in 1893. If anyone has any information about life in Keystone in those days or Lutheran itinerant pastors, or any information about these individuals, please contact me.
