What marriages did you find between the families in Morgan County, IN? Dixon PENNINGTON (4 Jan. 1798, Mercer, KY - 26 Jan. 1884) was s/o Edward PENNINGTON & Martha BILBO. There is an extensive pedigree online and also a list of Dixon's children. Dixon is on the 1880 Census in Brown, Morgan, IN, on the FamilySearch database. There are lots of PENNINGTON marriages on the Indiana site, Marriages to 1850. Dixon is listed as Discon, m. 6 Oct. 1818, Harrison Co., Catherine SMITH. The connection might be George GRESHAM m. 14 Oct. 1801, KY, Mary PENNINGTON. Do a Google search.
