West. Mansfield Dunning b. Ohio mar. 3 Jan. 1856 Knox Co.,Ill. Huldah H. West. They were living in Taylor Co., Iowa in 1856 and he entered land 14 Jul. 1857 for 67 acres. He was listed as farmer and he was 23 and Huldah was 19 also b. Ohio. They had children: William Charles b. 9 Jul. 1864 Taylor Co.,Ia.,Luther J. b. 20 Sept. 1876 Taylor Co.,Ia.,Ettie Anez b. 19 Aug. 1858 Taylor Co.,Ia., Nellie and Marybelle. They moved to Rapid City,SD. abt. 1878 and Huldah was granted land in Black Hills section for 160 acres 6 Jan. 1890. In Luther J. Dunning's obit. it states he left Rapid City,SD. abt. 1890 after the death of his parents. According to info.l found on the internet,Mansfield Dunning is listed in the South Dakota Genealogical Society Quarterley Vol. 2,Issue 2,pg. 50. If anyone has this issue,I would appreciate hearing from you and letting me know what it says about him. Of course, any info. at all about this family,would be appreciated. Thank you. Rebecca R.
