Of course, the spelling is iffy--the handwriting is my mother's, and she may have written it somewhat phonetically as my gmother dictated it. Anyway, they were taken around 1940-42, in Rapid City, South Dakota, where my gparents, Howard and Jessie Maxwell were living at the time.
