She married James Dwight Mount 12/1/1919. She passed away in 1968 or 1969. She rests in the Taylor plot at Mountain View Cemetary in Rapid City, SD. Iva was the second woman to pass the South Dakota Bar examination. She was an attorney for more than 50 years. Her daughter still lives in Rapid City and has the Taylor Family Bible that was given to Sadie Gillam and Lorenzo Taylor on their wedding day by Saddie's brother Ezekiel Darling Gillam, my great-great grandfather. If interested, I have more information and photos available.

I am trying to locate a picture of Lena Mamie Shields. I know for sure she attended a grade school in Hill City in the year 1925. Is there a list of schools for that area during the dates listed? Any help would be very much appreciated. Linda
Ellen, Did you see the post a couple of weeks ago--somebody had a picture of graves in Rapid City but couldn't make out the writing on the bottom with the name of the cemetery. I suggested that if she could scan the picture and send it to me I might recognize the cemetery. She did and the graves were those of Bill's grandparents. He found a distant cousin. Stella
Just read your e-mail about finding names of people buried in certain Pennington cemeteries and wonder if you can tell me if these two are buried in one of them. James Lynch MYLES had been living in Rapid City with wife Nell. She died about 1969 I think and would be buried there, but according to SSDI he died in the next county to the West and I don't know whether he was taken back for the burial. If you have time will you look them up, please? I just thought it would be one or the other.
