Yes, I did mean 1893 and my family and census records indicate a Sept. 1893 birth of Jacob F. Roth. Family report he died in S. Dakata, but I don't as yet have any confirmation of this or a death date. I am fairly certain that one of his sons, Clair, moved to CA and died in Kern County. I am working to obtain his death record. Clair was born abt. 1913 and did die abt 7/3/1974. What information might you have about Clair? Also, Jacob C. Roth, my great grandfather did indeed have a second wife named Isabelle. His first wife, Elizabeth, Jacob and Isabelle all died in Nebraska. I know of no Roth relatives who lived in NY/NJ. Isabelle was born about 1874 and did die in 1941 in Fremont, NE. Thanks for any information about my Roth's in S. Dakota.
