Surnames: Sharp, Pierce, Masters,Bulen Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/0gB.2ACI/311.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Crawford is a mystery so far...My Sharp's came through Virginia to Iowa; however, Crawford came to Iowa with Nancy Sharp and her other children which included Crawford and Margaret, we are not sure who the others are except for the census showing Nancy Sharp as head of house; she was a land owner in Winnisheik County . Crawford remained single and lived to be about 80; he worked as a laborer on the farm of Levi Moore III who was Rachel Moore Sharp's half sister and my great great grandmother. I am very curious about the other children of Rachel and James Sharp especially those who moved to South Dakota. Lovina Sharp Pierce and George Sharp/married to Susannah Peacock and had son Stewart in Iowa and possibly Archie in SD. Still not all that clear to me.
