Brennan who died 17 June 1928 in Sherman, South Dakota, as a result of an auto accident near Canby, Minnesota, on 14 June 1928. Nicholas had been a grain dealer for some years in Athol, South Dakota. He is buried in the Catholic cemetery in Luverne, Minnesota. Nicholas was born in Knockadeen, Townland of Castlewarren, County Kilkenny, IR, 1 Apr 1849. Imm. to Watertown NY in 1852, then to Chatfield, MN, 1855. Parents: Patrick and Margaret (Noonan) Brennan. Married Margaret Caveny, 1875, Souix City, IA.
