Bennett St., died Thursday at a local hospital. Jennie Dykstra was born in Orange City, Iowa, and moved to Springfield as a child. She moved to Sioux City, Iowa, in 1918 and married to Earl L. Custer on Feb. 27, 1926. They farmed in the Spencer, Iowa area until moving to Sioux Falls in 1960. Survivors include her husband, Earl; two sons, Paul, Wessington Springs, and Earle R., Manchester, Conn.; six grandchildren; one brother, Guy, Monroe, Ore., and one sister, Bertha Dykstra, Sioux Falls. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Miller Funeral Home (Argus Leader, 17 Feb 1978).
