Mr. Halbritter was born in Montrose and lived all his life in that area. He married Betty Brandon on Feb. 12, 1949. Survivors include one son, Joseph, Montrose; one daughter, Elizabeth Miller, Montrose; two grandsons; two brothers, Albert, Los Angeles, Calif., and Alfred of Kentucky; tow sisters, Mrs. Agnes Raap and Mrs. Lorraine Johnson, both of Montrose. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Montrose. Parish rosary service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the Kinzley Funeral Home in [rest missing] arrangements (Argus Leader, 17 Feb 1978). NOTE: I have no further info on this family
