D. - Grover Heideman of Colton died Saturday at the Bethany Lutheran Home in Sioux Falls. He was 86 years old. He was born May 2, 1896, in Garden Prairie, Ill. He moved with his parents to Ireton, Iowa, in 1900 and lived there until moving to Colton in 1913. On Nov. 23, 1918, he married Alice Walker in Sioux Falls. The farmed in the Colton area until they retired in 1969 and moved into Colton. He was a 60 year member of the Taopi Masconic Lodge in Colton. He is survived by his wife, Alice of Sioux Falls; four sons, I. LaDelle, Glen Ellyn, Ill., George Liewellen, Vancouver, Wash., Tom, Arden Hills, Minn., and Dale, Woodridge, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Beryl) Lee, Iron Mountain, Mich., and Mrs. Robert (Della) Caselli, Sioux Falls; 13 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Colton. Visitation will begin today at 10 a.m. at the Minnehaha Funeral Home in Colton. Dated Saturday, July 13, 1985 Alice Heideman COLTON- Alice Heideman, 88, of Colton, died Friday in Bethany Lutheran Home, Sioux Falls. Alice Walker was born Nov. 22, 1896, in Lyons. She grew up in the Lyons area and was graduated from Augustana Normal School and taught Grinde school near Colton. She married Grover Heideman, Nov. 23, 1918, in Sioux Falls. They farmed in the Colton area and in 1969, they retired into Colton. Her husband died Nov. 13, 1982. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Colton, and she was active in Eastern Star. Survivors include: four sons, I. LaDelle, Glen Ellyn, Ill., George Liewellen, Vancouver, Wash., Tom, Arden Hills, Minn., and Dale, Woodridge, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Beryl) Lee, Iron Mountain, Mich., and Mrs. Robert (Della) Caselli, Sioux Falls; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a sister, Etta Larson, Sioux Falls. Graveside services will begin at 10 a.m. Monday in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Ireton, Iowa. Memorial services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday in United Methodist Church, Colton.
