Dated Tuesday, August 5, 1986 Clifford Alguire Clifford G. Alguire, 87, of 1117 N. Elmwood Ave., died Sunday in McKennan Hospital. Mr. Alguire was born Feb. 2, 1899, in Sioux Falls, where he married Emma Cock Dec. 5, 1923. He was employed by Anderson Oil Company for 13 years. He was then foreman for Speedy Manufacturing Company. Before Retiring in 1964, he was employed by Colman Manufacturing for 9 � years as a design engineer. Mr. Alguire also developed and built Webster Grote Edition in 1955. He was a member of American Legion, Moose Lodge, Senior Citizens and Golden Age Club. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Mavis) Gjere, Sioux Falls; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and a brother, Raymond, Scotland. Services will begin at 2:30 p.m. today in Miller Funeral Home. Dated Thursday, January 4, 1996 Emma Alguire Emma Alguire, 94, of 401 W. Second St., a former sales clerk, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 1996, at the Good Samaritan Center. Emma Kock was born Sept. 21,1901, in Centerville. She attended country school in Colton and moved to Sioux Falls in 1918. She married Clifford Alguire on Dec. 5, 1923, in Sioux Falls. She was a housewife and also worked as a sales clerk Fantles and J. C. Penney Co. Her husband preceded her in death. She was a member of St. John American Church; Women of the Moose; the Bergeland Center; Golden Age Club; and a former member of the First Congregational Church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Mavis) Gjere of Sioux Falls; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Theodore (Hilda) Taylor of Denver. Services begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
