Dated Thursday March 27, 1952 Shoe Salesmen Dies in Store Henry Alguire, 63, Drops Dead at Local J. C. Penny Co. A shoe salesmen at the Sioux Falls J. C. Penny Company for 11 years, Henry L. Alguire, 63, dropped dead at the Penny Store this morning. Mr. Alguire of 1214 W. 10th St., was stricken just after he had walked into the store at 8 :25 o�clock. Born here, Jan. 12, 1889, Mr. Alguire attended Sioux Falls Business College. He moved to Winner after his marriage to Ruth Hammer in Madison, Nov. 7, 1923. While residing in Winner, he worked as a shoe salesmen at the Outlaw Trading Post. Mr. and Mrs. Alguire moved back to Sioux Falls in 1935. He was past master of the Winner Masonic Lodge and past worthy patron of the Roseland Chapter No. 113 of the Winner Eastern Star. Survivors are his widow; a daughter, Joan, Sioux Falls, and six brothers, Elgie, Wright and Clifford, Sioux Falls; Harvey and Earl, Madison, and Raymond, Chester.
