He was christened at the Stord Kirke in Stord on the 15th of July in 1866. His father was Christian Augustinusen Helland and mother was Christie Larsdtr Nysaeter. Christian died in Beach, North Dakota in 1940 and is buried in Sentinel Butte, North Dakota. This is taken from Family Search and the submitter was Osvald Gilje.
