If you look on a South Dakota Map, from Sioux Falls, you will run into Renner. Keep going north until you see Midway. At Midway (which is just a gas station), take a left. There is a bridge on that road. That was the center of Sverdrup Township and about 1/2 a mile north of what was the original John Thompson homestead.
