Dated Sunday, January 30, 1983 Edith Hansen Edith Hansen, 72, of 3801 S. Cliff Ave., died Friday at McKennan Hospital. Edith Pike was born March 27, 1910 in Capa, S. D., and married Lowell C. Hansen Sr. April 12, 1936, in Canton, S.D. She was retired from Jack Rabbit Lines where she served as vice president. She was also active in the Shrine auxiliary, Daughters of the American Revolution and Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband died in 1970. Survivors include one son, Lowell II, Sioux Falls; one daughter, Lynne, Sioux Falls; five grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard Pike, Harrisburg, S.D. and Vincent Pike, Pensacola, Fla.; and three sisters, Madge Ficken and LaVonne Jensen, both of Sun City, Ariz., and Maxine Harvey, Mesa, Ariz. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon today at Miller Funeral Home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Children’s Inn or the American Heart Fund.
