I have made some progress since posting. Because of the kind people of Hawley, Minnesota, I got the obituary for Alma Mannigel. I still did not know the date of death for Robert Mannigel but because the North Dakota Historical Society will do a search for names, I was able to get the date of death for Robert Mannigel. So then I ordered his death certificate. He died April 21, 1929 in Fargo, ND. Alma Mannigel's maiden name was INGALLS. Thank you for taking time to respond to my query. I still would like to know where Robert and Alma married. It would have beens sometime in the early 1920s.
