They were married on 22 Oct 1929 in Kidder, Marshall County, South Dakota. They had four children that I know of; Duane Maynard Myhre, born 02 Nov 1931 in Hillhead, Marshall County, South Dakota and died 24 Apr 1993 in St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota; La Vern Dale Myhre, born 07 Feb 1933 in Hillhead, Marshall County, South Dakota and died 20 Jun 1996 in Duluth, St. Louis County, Minnesota; Aldean Alen Myhre born 01 Jan 1939 in Hillhead, Marshall County, South Dakota and died 08 Nov 1991 in Ramsey! County, Minnesota; and Sharon Janice Myhre, born 26 Jan 1949 in Ramsey County, Minnesota. Could this be the Dale Myhre you are looking for? Phone 605 332 5221 My source did not give me much information other than their names and are buried in Section: Elm Lot 126 At the present time I am restricted from the death records at the Register of Deeds office. D, Pharmacist Dies at Sioux Falls Hospital Harry M Kuhns, 61, 413 South Duluth ave., veteran South Dakota pharmacist, died at a local hospital at 8:20 oclock last night after being stricken with a heart attack late yesterday afternoon. He was taken to the hospital at 5 oclock. Mr. Kuhns had been employed as a pharmacist at the Dunning Drug Co. immediately prior to his death. Previously he had worked at the Independent Drug Co. and the Dow Drug Co. after coming to Sioux Falls in 1942. Born at Kilimore, Ind, August 28, 1888, he came to Sioux City in 1905. A year later he moved to Canistota where he entered the drug business. Before coming to Sioux Falls, he was in the drug business at several South Dakota towns, including seven years at Beresford and 18 years at Pukwana. He was married to Nellie Snider at Lincoln, Nebr., August 24, 1916. He is survived by his widow; one daughter, Mrs. A. D. Roberts, Washington, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Henry Schaller, Sioux Falls, Mrs. R.C. Waters, Weslaco, Tex., Mrs. C. M. Jewell, Los Angeles, and Mrs. M. W. H9ockett, Indianapolis, and one grandchild. Mr. Kuhns was a 33rd degree Mason and a member of the Lions club. The Miller funeral home is in charge of arrangements. Typed just as it appeared (including any/all typos) Dated Wednesday, December 30, 1942 Accident Fatal To Mrs. Skaro Sioux Falls Woman Struck by Bus Dies- Rites Friday Mrs. Antena Hoff Skaro, 77, widow of E. K. Skaro, 821 South Phillips ave., succumbed to a brain injury at a hospital late Tuesday afternoon. Her injuries were sustained when she was struck by a transportation bus eight weeks ago. The accident occurred at Tenth street and Walts avenue. Mrs. Skaro was a member of the First Lutheran church and was active in church work, particularly in the Ladies Aid. She was a member of the Womens Christian Temperance union. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edna Smead, Sioux Falls; two sons, Raymond and Conrad, both of Sioux Falls; three grandchildren; and a brother, M. T. Hoff, Madison, Minn. Funeral services will be held at 10a.m. Friday at Banton chapel. Dr. H. J. Glenn, pastor of the First Lutheran Church, will officiate at the rites. Mrs. T. C. Thompson will serve as organist. Immediately after the services here the body will be taken to St. Peter, Minn., for Committal rites and burial in the family lot in the St. Peter cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Banton funeral home until the funeral hour.
