Frank and Fred moved to Alberta, Canada, about 1912 or 1914. George E., b. 1874, married ___ NORTON, sister of Charlotte, & had a son and a daughter. George bought a hotel in Oacoma but left Lyman Co. ca. 1906. Charles Richard (1875 - 1954). Ancestry.com says Ninian was son of William SCHOOLER & Mary NICHOLS. The name is spelled Ninyon in Early Settlers of Lyman Co., which has a photo of him. Ninian SCHOOLER m2. widow Charlotte NORTON MOULTON & had Mary, b. 22 Nov. 1896; Margaret, b. 8 Jan. 1903; & Dorothy, b. 10 Apr. 1905. There were also two sons, but one died in infancy, and another died at age eight of a rattlesnake bite. In 1910, Lottie 45, WI PA NY, was with her brother Alfred NORTON, 36, SD PA NJ [NY?] & Albert E. MOLTEN [sic, MOULTON], 15, b. SD. Jesse MOULTON married Susie FLETCHER and lived east of Reliance, SD. Ralph Fletcher MOULTON m. 23 Feb. 1948, Hughes Co., Billy Mae SCHOOLER. William H. SCHOOLER & first wife Elizabeth "Lizzie," b. ca. 1877, m. ca. 1895, had a child who died young; Frank, b. 1897; & Charles Edward, b. 1899 [3 ch., 2 living, per 1900 census]. The mother died of polio shortly after Ed's birth, and Ed was sent to relatives in Iowa. William & second wf. Anna LEGGETT, b. ca. 1872, Ohio, m. ca. 1902, & had Kenneth, b. 25 June 1908, Lyman Co., SD. William worked for Cudahy Packing Co. in Sioux City, IA, for about two years ca. 1903-04. Kenneth wrote the story of the family for the book, Early Settlers of Lyman County, 1974. Kenneth's sons Frank and Wm. Harry were still of Crescent Valley, Lyman Co. at that time. Frank Albert SCHOOLER (15 Jan. 1872 - 1946), & Clarissa Viola HARMON (9 Mar. 1877, Black Hawk Co., IA - 20 Oct. 1945, Consort, Alberta, Canada) m. ca. 1897, & had in Lyman Co., SD: Ollie, b. 4 Oct. 1898; Mary Adeline, b. 2 Feb. 1900; Iva Pearl, b. 4 Oct. 1901; Roy [Ray?] Clayton, b. 1903; Gladys, b. 23 Sep. 1906; Myrtle, b. 1908; & Emily, b. 1909 (aged 9 mos. in 1910). Fred, twin of Frank, b. 15 Jan. 1872, Union Co., m. Nellie HARMON, b. ca. 1881, SD. Jacob, 62, & Martha HARMON, 65, were with them in 1910. fred had no children but took care of Frank, b. 1897, after the death of Frank's mother. Charles SCHOOLER, b. ca. 1876, & Elsie MAY, b. ca. 1883, m. 1906, & had Charles, b. 9 Mar. 1907, & Verne, b. 27 Dec. 1908, Lyman Co. Benjamin A. "Bennie" SCHOOLER (1886, Iowa - 1950) m. 25 Dec. 1910, Union Co., SD, Rhoda STEESY, b. ca. 1882, IA, & had James, b. 7 Jan. 1912, Lyman Co. Ben lived in Black Dog Twp., Lyman Co., SD, 1940, with son Arnold B.. Ben was called a cousin of William in Early Settlers of Lyman Co. Ed SCHOOLER m. 19 Aug. 1918, Stanley Co., SD, Naomi ANDERSON. The BLM site has information on the land patents in Union and Lyman Cos., SD. Only Benjamin C. & Vivian are named in Union County. Perhaps Vivian should be Ninian.
