Looking for information on John Albert Bidwell and his wife Mary Ann who moved to South Dakota in 1900. I only have the name of one child born to them but there could be others. Julina Beatrice Estella Bidwell was b.Sept. 22, 1889,in Ashwa, Ontario, Canada. Married Alvin Wesley Buchtel, Feb. 21, 1908 in Gregory, Sd. Alvin and Julina's children were; Ida ,Myrtle,Beryl,Alvin John,Leroy,and Mary. All were born in Iona, SD. When Julina died Aug.5, 1931 her mother was by her side but she was then living back in Anerid, Sask. Canada and her name was Mary Ann Lillie. I would like to know what happened to John Albert Bidwell after coming to South Dakota, and when Mary Ann moved back to Canada and remarried. A few years ago I know that my great Aunt Mary or one of her children traveled to Canada and met her mothers (Julina) family, so I am fairly sure they still are there somewhere.
