I found the state archives on the website http://www.sdhistory.org/ to be of some help. I understand the campus of the old sanitarium was being used as a school now. I tried writing to them to see if they knew who to contact regarding old sanitarium records, I did not get a response. Sorry I don't have more to offer. Good Luck. The old tuberculosis sanitarium at Sanator is now the Patrick Brady Academy, youth correction facility. I don't know where the sanitarium records are, but perhaps the SD Dept. of Health would have them, if they were kept. Lorraine Leslie Besmer Custer, SD
