Rice, b early 1830's in Illinois. He had 2 daughters, Cordelia Pope and Mae Fliday who lived near Custer. He is believed to have died and been buried there in the early 1900's. He lived with Mrs. Pope, as his spouse, Amanda Wyrick Rice, died in 1895, in Nodaway County, Missouri. Does anyone have information on Joseph Rice or Cordelia Pope or Mae Fliday?
