She was previously married to a man named Dixon, and Mary Dixon had at least one daughter, Lena Dixon, who appears on the 1910 Census as 16 years of age. Also listed in 1910 is Maud (Maude) Munson, age 5, and Harry, age 2. In 1920 Otto is listed as Arthur, and there are additional children, Gerald 9; Jessie 6; Delia 4 (Delia is listed as a male and a son). In 1930 Mary is a widow, head of household, and still living with her are Maude, Harry, Gerald, Jessie and Delia (who is now female and a daughter). Otto Munson was born Nils Otto Gustafsson, and changed his name, utilizing his father's surname after emigration from Sweden in 1872. He was a taxidermist, and managed the Nebraska telephone company for a time while living in Custer, South Dakota. His daughter Maude was a school teacher in the public schools in Custer, and his son Harry was an electrician.
