I am wondering if this Drake family in New Jersey might be the same Drake family that one of my Burgetts married into. I have an aunt back many generations named Rebecca Drake, born 25 Dec 1800 in New Jersey and died 29 July 1898 in Brown County, Ohio, according to prior Burgett researchers, Earl Burgette and Gussie Burgett. She married 2 April 1818 in Ohio Abraham Burgett. Abraham was born in 7 Dec 1792 in Virginia and died 17 Jul 1843 in Brown County, Ohio (ref: Index of Cemetery Inscriptions for Pisgah Ridge Cemetery, Levanna, Ohio (1963)). Rebecca and Abraham had 14 children. Abraham was the administrator of the estate of my ancestor Valentine Burgett (died 1829), who I'm trying to learn more about. If I can establish a link between my earliest generation of proven Burgetts with the Seventh Day Baptists, or any other denomination, it could help me a lot. Thanks. Jim Johnson
