I am a descendant of Seventh-Day Baptists of Alfred, NY & would like to learn more about this church & its members. My gr-gr-grandfather .Joseph Edwards, Sr. came with his family to Alfred in 1826 from Charleston, RI when my gr-grandfather, Joseph Edwards, Jr. was three yrs. old. My grandfather was Horace G. Edwards (1855-1947). They were among the first members of the Seventh Day Baptist Church in Alfred.
