Hello, my name is Sandra Konigmacher and I am researching descendants of Adam Konigmacher who came to Philly in 1749 from Gimbsheim, Germany. Adam joined up with the German Seventh Day Baptist Society at Ephrata, Lancaster county PA. The family stayed there 5 generations until 1900s then converted to Seventh Day Adventistism. I am new to this type of research and still unclear on exact differences between Seventh Day Baptists, Dunkers/COB, and related sects. I also had family at the Snow Hill Cloister in Franklin Co., PA. (Fahnestocks) I have some material collected during the last few months; cemetery manifests for Ephrata Cloister and Mt. Zion, also misc. materials on the Cloister history.
